Mad Mike/UR stuff used to get talked about on IDM before 313 started. And IMO, his music is more IDM than a lot of stuff talked about here - at least he hasn't dispensed with the D.

Yes, Ambient Soho and Sister Ray are pretty good but like you say can be busy. Reckless and Music & Video Exchange are good for second-hand stuff. Also look out for the Smallfish shop in Old Street, opening in a week or so. Its kind of opposite the 333 club. They'll be doing lots of in-shop showcases of artists with some interesting acts playing. More information when I get it.

My Bloody Valentines' _Loveless_ is probably the best example of what Seefeel did years later with textured, layered guitars. Its beautiful music. || [CiM] || cim_@flashmail.com || - ______________________________________________________ Get Your FREE FlashMail Address now at http://www.flashmail.com It's Free, Easy, & Fun !!! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
