martin: the material on the intershop cd is more downtempo and experimental, whereas the 12"s are more uptempo and dj oriented. ie. intershop is an album project from dettinger that isn't related to the 12"s (so no 12" material on the cd). hope this makes sense! andrew duke :) martin burbridge wrote:

yep, andrew's got it right there.... now if only our friends at Kompakt would be so kind as to press VINYL of their full-lengths, instead of their current policy of pressing 12"s and then (semi-)related CDs (this goes for Profan, too). i want to be able to spin that stuff on the intershop cd... speaking of which, if i could make dubplates, i'd make one for Scanner's 20' to 2000 cd, which is just fucking incredible. somewhat like dettinger, in a way, but much more ominous -- dark, thick oppressive ambiance, cut through with brinkmann-like click tracks. find and acquire. p --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
