ken, you're still here aren't you? should i give up hope? is music for adverts your last lp? i love spanners, bytes, all the 12"s & all the remixes & exclusives i could track down, but temple of transparent balls & music for adverts are my favorites. although i quite enjoy the works of those who turned from black to plaid, i still hold 'adverts' alone above not for threes & rest proof clockwork. & i think those are excellent albums, but 'adverts' has a fucking magical musical brilliance that seems to be as of yet untappable to the angry dolphins. btw, i remember reading that warp originally planned to cut nommo & i think some other track from spanners. spanners was my introduction to full blown electronic music in early 95 & spanners was on my frequent playlist for like a fuckin year! that song is killer backward too. ken, i miss you long time.
