Anthony Manning: Concision Edits 12" (District Six 004) These releases are a good listen. Spanning a wide range of electronics such as idm, ambient, tekno, experimental ambient, and electro (at times). The Buckingham Palace compilation, which i recently acquired on cd is excellent, and i'm surprised i haven't heard much about it on this list. If anyone can comment on 001 and 002 (Lance?) please do so. The Neo Ouija material is something to look forward to as well.. . Katzen comp 12" (District Six 001) . Unfortunately, I dont have the Buckingham Palace or the Katzen comp releases because I have not been able to find them here in the states but I do have the Dayglo Tinsel ep you're wondering about. For those looking for the First, Second or any of the District Six releases, Rough Trade in Neal's Yard, Covent Garden (www.roughtrade.com) have them all in stock... and Ambient Soho have the first two and the latest Anthony Manning twelve". Various Aritsts - Katzen EP (DSIX001) A1. Electrospy - "CSTA" A2. The Horn - "Silvia Lining" B1. La Synthesis - "Cinematic" B2. ADJ - "Columbian Marching Powder" Various Artists - Buckingham Palace (2x12" DSIXLP001) Dont have the track listing for this handy but features: Clatterbox ADJ (x2) and now my memory has failed... Both releases are highly recommended for fans of the 'Clear' sound, all melodic / electro-tinged techno or IDM (what ever classification takes your fancy...) but anyway Lance has already said this.... District Six are self distributed... hence the reason they will be quite hard to find in the US... I think most releases are also limited to 500 copies...
