Has anyone wondered what the results would de like if some of our favourite idm producers set themselves to producing dancefloor oriented house? I suspect that in a lot of cases (no names, no packdrill) it would be pretty unimpressive. But with someone like Aphex (yes, I know he used to) or Ae its a pretty interesting prospect. Okay, enough timewasting.

In the case of Autechre, their semi-recent mix of Various Artists tends to find its way in my record crate when I play out... great mixing fodder, though it's not house by any means... I like squeezing it in between darker techno tracks.... Aaron
