Warp licensed these tracks out to an Australian label I think. Quite a few copies were imported back into the UK and sold - I remember seeing a stack in an HMV.

An interesting import curio but I don't think its that rare. New District Six 12" is pretty interesting. Its a license of an Anthony Manning track from Irdial. The track itself is moody and meandering - the Metamatics remix is very sweet, putting the moods into more of an IDM vein. Theres also a remix by Geoim (sp) who had a track on one of the Mask compilations - kind of scratchy IDM, perhaps not as strong as the Metamatics mix. I'm really excited to hear this release because i've always been a big fan of Anthony Manning's cds on the Irdial label. One of the remixers on this new District 6 ep, Geiom (not Goemb btw), seems to be getting alot of mentions lately. Are there any Geiom releases or comp appearances currently out there or is this an artists what will be making their official appearance shortly? Speaking of Irdial, recently I got ahold of an official Irdial cdr called Monster Music 98. It contains high quality mp3s of all 10 of the historic Irdial Monster Music radio shows totalling over 10 hours of mixed classic Irdial music & mayhem!
