Well, I try not to limit myself to thinking like that. I have heard several
groups create very interesting and complex melodies (influenced by autechre)
For example: Funkstorung (even though I'm not a big fan of their work),
Gas, Oval, Merzbow (just kidding;) the new material from Kompakt is very
nice and melodic, etyc . . . But that doesn't make Autechre any less
amazing. There are so many talented artists in the world. I understand how
you are feeling, but I like to give others a chance also.
