I'm quite positive there is, but I'm not sure where to find it -- probably
in a record review done by Q or Select or Vox or one of the other British
magazines. He may even have admitted it his own self too, that the Fireman
is indeed a project between him and Youth. Read all about it at

You've got to give the guy his respect, he's done just about everything he's
wanted to without worrying about his image or sales (though I s'pose he
doesn't really *need* to be concerned about rubbing two dimes together).
The home recordings from the '70s, arena rock with Wings later in the
decade, some pretty cool synth-pop early in the '80s, all his classical
projects, the Fireman, now this back-to-my-roots album (god-awful as it is),
sure beats most anyone else's attempts at "stretching out", especially that
absurd pseudo-ambient album Eric Clapton recorded as TDF a year or so ago...
