Well it definately wasn't a joint - I saw
some DJ's here in Amsterdam getting loose and
smoking their heads off [Souls of Mischief
i.e.]
Well... the worst turntablism ever was the
result. Awful timing, off-beat.. you name
it.. I think they felt they were doing there
best show ever, but it sucked.. Smoking is ok
if you play reggea or stuff like that I
guess, but not with this type 'o music.
I saw Kid Koala here in Amsterdam btw, and it
was the most amazing show I saw in years -
never seen anybody so happy with what he was
doing I think.. funky, tight stuff.. DJ Food
was next, and the mood changed straight away
- sorry Food.. your stuff is simply too
different from Koala's..
