i got an interesting record on a label called Heimelektro. anybody know anything about this one? a mixture of minimalist sound conceptions, idm overtones, and electro beat patterns. (sounds awful german, eh?) sc onnow: senking : 20' to 2000 (raster)

Yes indeed. I've been very happy with the few Heimelektro releases i've been able to find. The Heimelektro label and all of it's artists are from germany. i bought the first heimelektro compilation lp via a hardwax TIP! and was disappointed. very sketchbook-y and amateur sounding. i haven't heard the subsequent lps, but unless you're after bland, hobbiest electronica, i'd say steer clear of their first release. sc
