just a quick note to say (since I know a lot of
artists hang around on this mailinglist!), we're
looking for people for a free mp3-based remix
project we're doing, just for fun, like :) We have
the original soundtrack to "Super Mario World"
on the SNES, and are handing out a track each
to people for remixing in any way they see fit..
the results will comprise an mp3 album that will
be freely downloadable from www.mono211.com :)
So far Lackluster and Hotwire (two Monotonik-affiliated
artists) have handed in nice remixes, and we've also
been promised one by DJ Scissorkicks, former
Collapsed Lung member and rather top breakbeat
artist. But we is looking for more remixers.
So, it simply works like this - mail me to say you're
interested, I mail you a random <2meg mp3 from the
OST "Mario" album, and you mail me back the finished
mp3 article. Easy, huh?
Sorry to all those who ain't interested - for those who
are, mail me privately and we'll get on wif it.
