I think i've mentioned this before but I enjoy Takemura's new "Scope" album on Thrill Jockey but i have to caution you that it is light years away from the sound of the Child's View remix cd that came out several years ago. Instead of the playful dubby trip hop sound of the Child's View remix cd, Scope features a wildly experimental sound akin to the more challenging moments of ryoji ikeda/dumb type or maybe oval with some bubbly melodies over the top. it sucks. don't buy it. curse this execrable list for deifying this terrible, terrible pustule of an artist. go buy something by disc instead - you get that same feeling ("oh, shit, not another CD of CDs skipping") without all the nauseating "childlike" chirpiness.
