He did the same thing at the Boston show. BTW, my roommate, who's a techstep DJ (big up yellowcat!) was kind of puzzled by his set. Paraphrasing his comments after the show: "some of the jungle he played was phenomenal, his own tracks were, of course, great...but some of it was pretty mediocre. He played an Aphrodite track, fer Christ's sake. And the mixing was nothing to write home about." About the same way I felt. Personally, I would have been happier to have Amon Tobin spliffing offstage and Kid Koala spinning his records for him. Let's have the performers perform and keep the studio geeks locked away with their gear. Still, great show. I'm just being a bitch.
