If I were stranded on a desert isle with a solar-powered discman and could take ONLY CDs of German 70's prog-rock bands, which top 2 or 3 titles from the following bands would I have to take with me to survive? xhol caravan were fairly unimpressive based on the one album of theirs i heard.

Dave said it well "...scattered...you can find...". Bill Bruford is simply an amazing drummer - I don't care what you think of the band. And Squire was a very good bass player as well. On the whole, I can only deal with parts of certain songs before I need to leave the room. And those are usually the parts in which Jon Anderson does NOT do anything.
