first, anybody got a scanned photo of si begg/cabbage boy/buckfunk 3000? please send it to me or (better yet) direct me to a web-site where it's at. mailto:kawayama@postmark.net. thanks. right, i received 2 questions for my interview with cabbage boy. both dave segal and jason tar wanted to know about the next noodles compilation. simon says: noodles? - i've got another release on noodles coming up very soon. noodles is basically my own self-indulgent label where i release whatever i want. any style, any anything. it's mainly people i've met who can't get record deals elsewhere because their music's too obscure or stupid, so i put it out instead. all the stuff that no-one else will put out, i put out on noodles. own stuff on noodles? - i might be doing an album on noodles, quite experimental, not really a dancefloor thing, more of a collage type thing. death of cool 2? - it will be out soon. i've compiled the master, put all the tracks together. hopefully within a month-and-a-half or so, should be out this year, hopefully before the end of the year. i hope so anyway. keep an eye on the web-site, the web-site'll have updates and when stuff's coming out. (go to http://www.no-future.com and click on links.) (later) - i'm putting out some stuff on noodles from doktor kosmos. his cd is fucking mad. i'm putting one of his tracks on noodles, that's the kind of stuff i like to put out on noodles, really stupid stuff. the rest of the interview may see light in english, stay tuned. oh, and the cabbage boy album, "genetically modified", is the best album so far this year. that, and scanner's "lauwarm instumentals". hs _______________________________________________ the soul is just a waste product that disperses in the atmosphere and jams the tv broadcasts.

Hmmm. Gotta disagree here... while the Cabbageboy disc is a fun listen, and generally enjoyable, it's also somewhat disposible. Once the novelty of the goofy vocal samples and such wears off, it gets a little... well, boring. YMMV, of course. Greg
