Does anybody know about the existence of said genre? i saw some dark ambient folks at burningman who talked about this style, they said that it's been around for a few years now, and is like industrial trance, rooted in germany. anyone have a URL/ a few labels/artists to point me for start? np: tube jerk "fold" (kind of dissapointing trance with a light d'n'b flavor) agent mully icq 33102742

a good chunk of my cd collection would not exist were it not for power electronics/rhythmic noise.

please note it is not "die klinik" (which one could consider to german), but "the klinik" (or even without "the"). they are belgian, not german. sorry, but i am picky about this ! try to find their self-titled 2 x cd boxset for some of their most atmospheric tracks, without vocals. i know _marc verhaegen_ released some stuff as "the klinik" on various german based labels (spv among one of them) after the split with _dirk ivens_, but it's not as good ... by far. strange thing, eventhough mark did most of the music for the _klinik_, his continued output is much less impressive than that of dirk (the vocalist turned knob-twiddler) ! dv8 ps : _dirk ivens_ did some dj-ing at a recent '80s-wave-revival thing in my small hometown last weekend.
