the mego web site's "events" sections lists the following gig as having occured in may: Christian Fennesz and Peter Rehberg make 2 gigs in Portugal together with Rafeal Toral, Paulo Feliciano and Nuno Canvarro 1. did anybody go to this? 2. who are the other artists listed? 3. does this mean nuno canavarro is still making music? thanks! sc

"Yes, not many people, but a nice little crowd. The first gig was in Vila Nova de Foz Coa, a very small town in the north mountains - in the middle of nowhere, really. It was on an open air amphitheatre that had a huge valley and mountains as background. We used a 1 meter wide white cube with color lights inside which responded to sound dynamics, the whole thing resembled a UFO encounter... Next day was in a club in Lisbon, the sound was not as good and we were tired from the trip, so it wasn't as good, i think."

"Unfortunately, in spite of my efforts, Nuno didn't join us. He didn't give up making music, but we can't say he's making any. I'm still trying to bring him "back to life"..." Hope this helps... paul
