Mark Brook is a very prolific music producer with over 75 releases to date. His new style can be categorized very much in the hard minimal techno sound but his older releases are more in the abstract squelchy experimental techno vein generally utilizing unique percussion, melodies and builds to get things moving. He started as the dj/co-producer for Black Dog Productions back in the GPR label days and has been releasing material ever since. The projects and labels that mark has been involved with are numberous. Here are a few names: Sympletic, Repeat, Rue East, Voyectra, Kasm, Kapillmeister, Perbec, Visitor, Brubaker, El Mal, Baird Remo, Solcyc, Eco Tourist, Midnight Funk Assoc., Tan-Ru and Ted Howler. A few labels Mark is been release on are Pure Plastic (owner), Ifach (co-owner), Dark House Music (co-owner), Zone, A13, GPR, Cosmic, D1, Clear Position, Otherworld, Warp, Rewired, Trelik, Unexplored Beats, Lo Voltage, Ferox, 100% Pure, New Electronica, Mo Wax Excursions and Clear to name a few. Mark has also done many many remixes fof the likes of Mind Over Rhythm, Rob Rowland, Nicolette, Ken Ishii, David Caron, IO, Psychic Warriors of Gaia, 6th Sense Approach, Lowground, and Sterac among others. Broom is one of my favorite producers but until i finish mine, i dont think there is a website dedicated to his music.
