Sorry for the blatant lack of IDM content, delete if necessary. I'm looking for a good copy of Ultramarine's 12" on New Electronica, released previous to their _A User's Guide_ on said label. Anybody got one for sale? Haven't had any success on-line. On a (tenuous) link, their creations have stood up very well to the test of time. Anybody who hasn't listened to Ultramarine yet really should look into their middle catalogue - _Every Man and Woman Is a Star_ and _United Kingdoms_ especially. Melodic and angular groove. The rhythm programming isn't up to today's standards (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), yet the funk appeal is undeniable. What are Mssrs. Cooper and Hammond up to nowadays? It's been two years ... Agreed Mr. McPherson, Ultramarine is nice.....actually that beginning tune is another tune back in the early nineties which kept steering me toward IDM/Techno. Solid and just all around pleasant, the tune sparked my world for several years, until I met you cats! Its nice in other spots too-----lets see if I can remember the programming sequence, 1,3,4,6, 9&10(two solid tunes), 13-14-----a downtempo tune which leads right into a techy tune....awww I will go home and play it! Hk! -----Original Message----- From: James R McPherson [mailto:andregurov@juno.com] Sent: Friday, May 05, 2000 2:25 PM To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: [idm] Ultramarine 12" wanted (DELETE if you don't care) Sorry for the blatant lack of IDM content, delete if necessary.
