Dear All, I've posted similar messages a year ago and got very interesting reposnes but the time passes by and I'm sure new stuff has been released thus I 'd like to repeat my question. If I like the following artists what would you recommend for me to buy (with ra version in web to check) from the new or rarely mentioned stuff and preferably possible to get through ear-rational online shop as i trust them much. Ae, Aphex, Boc, Freeform, System Error, Mouse on Mars, Muziq, Lexaunculpt, etc. Thanx in advance. Alien

Something I really enjoy and never see mentioned - probably because it's released on a {{yuk warning}} trance label, is ODEON : Patchwork. Spirit Zone, 1998 I hope everybody else will post their recommendations to the list and not privately, because this could reveal some interesting things. Interesting thread. Here is a non exhaustive list of labels to look into (some are not all idm but usually contain a fair share of idmish type material): ant-zen hymen disturbance Dorobo Iris Light Noise Museum Staalplaat Tone Casualties 12K Soleilmoon Side Effect Records (mostly ambient but nice) Outward Music Company Toshok Labs krakfive Fatcat (mentioned but little talk around here) Pagan (house music done right) Glasgow Undergound (house music done right yet again) Swim~ That is all that comes to mind right now... I know I missed a whole bunch. -daniel Head Monkey Mad Monkey Records http://monkey.eliteware.com On Mon, 23 Aug 1999, Irene McC wrote:

Ah yes. I've just gotten hold of Daniel Ibbotson's Streamlines, which is a beaut. I remember seeing New Stories reviewed on the list when it came out, but nothing that I can remember about this release. I *
