ok i've decided that i'd only want to go on sunday to see these selected artists, but here's the pisser - with 40+ artists playing just on sunday, this could take all day and all night! how the hell can i see just the artists i want without sitting through the whole friggin mess? I feel that i'm cheated of a few shows that i would really appreciate in a more intimate setting; it's not often these folks cross the pond, much less go to the west coast, so i feel like this is "the chance" to see Ae and Bola. Even with "updated performance schedules" the lineup is "subject to change", so it's still a gamble if these folks may actually appear. if Ae and Bola really do intend to make it to california, what i'd really like is to have them stay for just a few more days and do another show or two. i'd really like them to have a few shows of their own, maybe LA and SF - is there anyone on this list who can help make this happen (promoters,agents,connected people?) i'm willing to fly south to socal to see them, but i'm not interested in a co-cheesella venue. are s & r still lurking about on this list?? warp guy are you out there?

Well, I think it will be a long day, but note there are three dance music tents and one main stage going at the same time. I think the rock acts are on the main stage...so you can pick and choose. as I understand it, our Ninja artists, Luke Vibert, Innerzone, Autechre, etc...are all playing the smallest tent (1000 cap.) over the course of the festival. Odds are if you're going strictly for these kid of acts there won't be any scheduling overlap. As for other shows...Coachella is an exclusive engagement for that area, do don't expect any L.A, San Diego, etc... gigs. Fair enough as they're footing the bill to bring everyone over. Jeff
