looking for any muslimgauze along the same lines as the track "free from a veil" on the avantgardism 2 compilation. heavily distorted beats with cut-up/stuttered vocal sample over top. very nice! any suggestions? was "free from a veil" on any of b. jones' own releases? thanks! -marc

This is how I first heard MG - it's an amazing sound, and very addictive. If you like 'Free from a veil', you'll probably like - 'Deceiver' , 'Vamire of Tehran' (dubby distorted beats), 'Izlamaphobia' (brilliant, but hard to get hold of), 'Mazir-I-Sharif' (track 1 has a beautiful into followed by totally evil distortion, distrurbing bomb-victim sleeve too), Melt (MP3 only - still available?? great stuff anyhow..).. and probably loads more. Some of his older releases aren't as heavy, and some are completely ambient - still damn good though.
