I'm looking for more stuff that sounds like The Amateur View by To Rococo Rot...recommendations? Also, is the new Kreidler as good as the last one? This whole indie rock/idm thing is pretty cool, I think, when it's done right. Anyone care to elaborate on this movement? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

any movement that attempts to bring a new sound into idm territory is cool with me (as long as it's done tastefully, of course), whether it's indie rock, jazz, classical, world music, funk, hip-hop..etc. there are still many uncharted directions for electronic musicans to go... please just no more autechre clones! -- On Mon, 01 May 2000 11:16:24 Will Simmons wrote:

hihi, Will Simmons on Idm, buy his stuff elctrokids. Recommendations by yours faithfully, Appliance: remixes (especially the Pole and Kriedler one) Velma: Parole mlp (best record i've heard in ages, i'm not kidding here: on Stetic records) Fourtet/Rothko 12" on Lo recordings (a bit "old" but overlooked shamefully) Wio vs Köhn: Lullabies 10" still one of the strangest colloborations/reworks i ever heard... :)) brrrrr; and off course Mr Simmons own remix of Vote Robot on Reversions. j³ ----- Original Message ----- From: Will Simmons <wdsimmo@comp.uark.edu> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Monday, May 01, 2000 6:16 PM Subject: [idm] To Rococo Rot, Kreidler
