Righto, then.
I will be spending two weeks (July 31 to August 14) in California -- a
week in LA (Siggraph 99, which runs from the 7th to the 13th, I
believe), and the other week in San Francisco (driving between the two,
so also some time along the way).
Since I have never been, I would love to hear some recommendations on
where to shop. I am looking for techno and IDM (duh!) and also
experimental music, noise and black metal/darkwave -- so if anyone can
think of interesting stores in LA, SF or in between, I would love to
hear recommendations. Also, if there are any interesting shows/events of
an electronic or experimental nature happening in that time frame,
please let me know!
