I would get (in this order): SH&W - my bag CD dummy run - self titled CD from there I would probably track down some of their 7 inch singles and possibly the other dummy run CD (name escapes me). Also there is SH&W CD called stop I think that is pretty cool. More noise oriented though. dummy run is 1/2 of SH&W right? -daniel Head Monkey Mad Monkey Records http://monkey.eliteware.com On Fri, 9 Jul 1999, Ernesto Ikerd wrote:

"oh my bag" "hairballs" "organ transplants vol 1" daniel wrote:

dummy run is 1/2 of sh&w but different, more consistently frantic, beaty and short (something like 29 tracks in 45 minutes sounds about right). the other dummy run "ice cream headache" is also worth getting. "stop" is live edits, v. restless, has bits and pieces of other recordings but more fragmented. well at least i kept it down to 5 in the end. -martin

Hmm by far my favorite is Organ Transplants - the greatest electronic cut up tribute to organs! second would be My Bag - that is the latest album and boy is it fu#*ed up - in the good way. and if you like completely insane Drum and Bass check the side project Dummy Run - Ice Cream Headache Later Jason At 04:17 PM 7/9/99 -0500, Ernesto Ikerd wrote:

It's all good, Ernesto, but my favorites are SH&W's Hairballs and Dummy Run's Icecream Headache. Some old 10-inches have been reissued recently (a friend taped them for me, and they're great, too). SH&W's Organ Transplants features loads of sampled organs and is big fun for trainspotters.
