While waiting for the next batch of Dot records to come out... (please please please) may I suggest checking out the two Monolithic Minds comps on Prim. Just got my copies over the weekend.... Primal has just secured a distribution deal in the U.S. and Canada for their future releases... and are starting with these two comps (dating back to 97-98)with exclusive tracks from Naid (who had a brilliant album and single on the now defunct Beverage records label also from Sweden), Friend, Quant, Eclectic Bob, Yoga and Baxter (who had a rather quiet domestic full-length album released on Maverick last fall).... Both discs are packaged nicely, and sound great. The Friend track espcially on Monolithic Minds 2 is pretty groovy..... Aaron

Ok Then I might have to tell you that there's nothing certain about when Dot will release again. But they will. Just no date set. They've got a whole bunch of finished records from both their old artists and new ones (of which I cannot give you any names at the moment except for the NUF album which will be "the bomb" -- some of the other new dot-signings are people who most of you have already heard on other labels -- only good stuff) I've got a couple of tapes with material and I can tell you that it sounds GOOD. It's the money. If they only could get it out. There's been a lot of paperwork and then some to sort out and there's more. But once they're released.... Wow baby. BTW Monolithic Minds aren't released by Primal, they're released by a label called "Monolithic" (believe it or not...) which is a collaboration between the two swedish labels RUC (www.ruc.com) and Primal. There's a part 3 coming out this year hopefully. Cheers Franz http://gargamel.com/frankie -- WHEN DOGMA ENTERS THE BRAIN, ALL INTELLECTUAL ACTIVITY CEASES. - Robert Anton Wilson
