Greater Than One, aka GTO, was the product of Michael Wells and Lee Newman, who worked under several pseudonyms including Technohead, John and Julie, and Tricky Disco. Lee Newman died of cander a few years ago but Michael Wells has continued on with several projects including Signs Ov Chaos. He's been working a lot with Scanner. Someone else probably knows more than me on this topic. Anyway, i consider GTO's "Index" is probably the best thing they did under the "Greater Than One" name. Check out http://www.brainwashed.com/gto for more information. Peter Becker wrote:

In the light of Sharon Maher's post outlining the Michael Wells connection, I can add that I've got Signs Of Chaos' "Departure - Designer Lounge Beats" which came out on Medcom/Roadrunner last year. Very pleasant and quite as the title suggests. But what *IS* this doing on Roadrunner?! I *
