WOW!! I'm so glad this guy is getting some well deserved recognition on
this list. I didn't think anyone knew about Hydrant records, so I just
kept my mouth shut about Proem.
Go get this cd immediately!! He has a really nice combination of melodic
sounds with darker atmospheres and beats. A must for fans of Autechre
and the more industrial side of IDM.
Another surprise is that this guy is from Texas! That's right, believe
it or not, Houston is kind of turning into a miniature Sheffield these
days. Three other artists are making waves down here by the names of:
Mr. Harten, Otto Hive, and the Western Lands. You can check them out on
the Emerge Compilation put out by 1216 records out of California.
