and Newcleus' Jam On It (from 1984) is the first track in part 4 of In The Mix show 585 (as I threatened/promised ;) when, multy, if i remember correctly, said he thought there was a connection between newcleus and the a side. i still disagree, but i've got jam on it on this upcoming show and maybe will put the a side from sch808 on the following week so we can all check :) andrew duke :) Christopher Miller wrote:

I love this soundtrack. The Carl Orff as digital-whirrs and the weird retro-future nightclub tracks. Since this is way out of print, a bit of these are on the bleepbloop ftp site. The music is downright weird/odd. Solenoid

I would think the phoenecia boys use of MOST of the vocal hooks from the original (including the words 'jam on it' & 'dont stop the body rock') would tip off even a monkey that it's a remix. :-) brock.
