This is a great EP from '95. There are 4 tracks and here's a
brief description of each:
A1 "E Coli" - warbling bass keys move into a nice electro beat... then a
*very* Severed Heads sounding staccato rhythm is introduced... interesting
effects thrown into the mix.
A2 "Dyslexia" - sharp fast bass pattern with pounding beats, which would
mix nicely with Surgeon... a minimal aggressive feel.
B1 "Salems Lot" - dark overtones with minimal, sharp sounding rhythms... a
hypnotic keyboard pattern fades in and out throughout.
B2 "Crimson Dynamo" - percussion pattern similar to Front 242, which gives
the track somewhat of a militaristic feel... a dissonant keyboard line
creeps in during the 2nd half... a dark sounding track.
I personally like side A best, but the whole EP is very good
overall. You should track it down. Thanks for mentioning this 12"
because it had been awhile since I pulled it out and gave it a thorough
listening!
