Depending on my mood, "Frequencies" blows away "Incunabula" as best early "IDM" album, especially "Simon from Sidney" np: DJ Rap "Learning Curve" (hmmm...much more electro than i expected) _________________________________ Adam Roesch / roesch@augsburg.edu University of Idaho / Moscow / ID / USA Visit my Fila Brazillia/Pork Recordings fan site: http://dogbert.augsburg.edu/~roesch/pork/ "Because success needs killing" TRICKY

broke up in the sense that lfo is no longer a recording act or in the sense that bell and varley arent collaborating? i think varley was credited on only one track for advance. i may be wrong, but i also thought i saw warp news stating new lfo before the end of the millenium... maybe not. tis a shame either way, they dont get quite the credit they deserve. cl On Wed, 23 June 1999, Andrew Duke Cognition/In The Mix wrote:

Well, no one except Global Communication and System 7. And possibly others. -- Adam J Weitzman "They don't make music like that NewsEdge Corporation these days. In fact, sometimes http://www.newsedge.com they don't even make music." http://www.newspage.com - Dave Barry

They remixed GC's "Maiden Voyage" on the first of the two CD-singles for that song. I was actually wrong about System 7; I got confused by the word "mainline" in one of the remix names for "Interstate."
