I liked the first Panacea single Tron. His Lp has some ok stuff, kind of all sounds the same. I don't give Panacea too many props. It isn't that hard to sample a No U-Turn record to get the beats and then distort the hell out it and throw some dark stuff over it. He kind of seems like a one-trick pony I have ALOT more respect for producers like Ed Rush & Optical, Dom & Roland, Fierce, The Ram label, etc. If you are interested in hearing samples of Ed Rush & Optical go to the Place To Be website http://www.neurofunk.com/place_to_be/ === SO CAL IDM Homepage http://home.earthlink.net/~efrans/scidm SWOPE TRANSMISSIONS Radio Show http://home.earthlink.net/~efrans/swope-transmissions/ _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Well, I'm not knocking Panacea, but Ed Rush & Optical's "Wormhole" sounds pretty powerful to me. Especially their mix cd of Wormhole with the five bonus tracks. Not as dark as Panacea, but definitely dark enough. Anybody else agree?

hey, i dig the no u-turn crew, too.it is possible to like both panacea *and* the no u-turners. that said, it seems like the no u-turn label has fallen into a rut. can we finally put the 2-step rhythm to sleep? lord have mercy. Actually, big things have been promised from No U Turn for the new millennium! I know they've been a bit slack for quite a while, but I'm off to london next week and my main goal is to whip the label into shape and get nico off his ass and releasing the goods once again. He's promised me a quality release every two weeks, but we'll see! Forthcoming from No U Turn, this year: Deep Roots EP '???/???' - NUT 22 Fierce/Nico EP - 'tripwire'/'method' - NUT 23 RymeTyme - 'We Enter' (2 optical rmxs) - NUT 24 Deep Roots LP Fierce mix CD - 'Trauma' (17 cuts forming a history of No U Turn) Also, there is a shitload of stuff already lined up for Saigon and NuBlack, which I'll post more info on when I have it. peace out, brock
