Alright, I'm a bit behind the times and never got Irresistible Force's new album or Nepalese Bliss. But I picked up Fish Dances yesterday b/c of the Plaid mix and the whole ep kicks ass! In fact, the Plaid mix is the only disappointing mix on there. So, my question is Mixmaster Morris' nom de plume's _It's Tomorrow Already_ worth picking up? Especially seeing that it's been several tomorrows since it came out ... ; -) Also, I couldn't help but notice while shopping that Tortoise has several releases for Japan - some are just releases of domestic stuff, but there was one called something like Compendium of Tortoise and I was wondering what the tracklisting is ... And, finally, my desert island choices: FSOL _Lifeforms_ Aphex Twin _SAW II_ DJ Vadim _USSR Repertoire_ Autechre _Garbage_ VA _Invisible Soundtracks_ Ultramarine _A User's Manual_ Psyche/BFC _Elements_ Boymerang "pro-active ep" VA _Organized Sound_ and anything by Twisted Science J np: Women's World Cup USA v. IMO, the Ninja Tune Irresistible Force releases are, from best to least best: 1. Nepalese Bliss 2. Fish Dances 3. It's Tomorrow Already. The three remixes of Nepalese Bliss are great, as is the original. Quite possibly, this, or one of the remixes is my favorite song ever. DJ Food's remix is currently my favorite. (the others are Fila Brazillia and Amon Tobin). This was the only EP on my desert island list, and the one that would probably be hardest to live without. IMO, a release on par with that greatest release of the 80's Eric B and Rakim "Paid In Full." My recommendation is to buy this. Even if you have to go hungry for a day or two. As For It's Tomorrow Already, i find it a bit too samey. Good stuff, but a lot of the songs seem like alternate versions of other tracks on the album. Maybe not, but not quite as engaging as either EP. _________________________________ Adam Roesch / roesch@augsburg.edu University of Idaho / Moscow / ID / USA Visit my Fila Brazillia/Pork Recordings fan site: http://dogbert.augsburg.edu/~roesch/pork/ "Because success needs killing" TRICKY

I would say, and pardon my typical expression, Fuck yeah! This CD, in some areas------is just Hella! Lush flavor, mid-downtempo cuts----Nepalese Bliss which is hella in and of itself.......------actually i got hooked up with this while in Chicago, and I might add is one of the reasons for searching for other Musically realted artists.............I think it was much better than his previous two Solo CDs--'WOTIMO'=Whose Other Than In My Opinion! Hk!
