no reason for this email besides the fact that i must say i just saw one of the coolest titles for ANY piece of music i've ever seen: on Im So Bored With the USA [part 2] on Blue Vinyl 7" track 3 on side 1 (2) kid 606 - luke vibert can kiss my indiepunk whiteboy ass yeah. just in case anybody cares here's the complete tracklisting, as i don't think this thing is out yet... SIDE [2] brindle spork - wild why (edit) nomex - destroyed man revisted kid 606 - luke vibert can kiss my indiepunk whiteboy ass ra - party talk #1 SIDE [25] andre estermann - untitled lost in translation - so pure ra - party talk #2 ashtray navigations - tiger lil's mad dog monday ra - party talk #3 oh, and: -i really like the new autechre -the schematic comp is a far cry from decent, it's called MELODY, try it. -i can't stop listening to the fantomas album -luke vibert can kiss my indiepunk brownboy ass -anybody know where i can find more stuff by mat101 besides what's on the Nature comp and his 12" on Nature? -Fresh Lychees Win!!! As the paper clears the alignment roller, I observed a slight hesitation in the paper movement. Transport unit belts were replaced and I found the unit to be in good working order. Stopped the machine with the paper just cleared of the alignment showed the paper sticking to the trans/sep corona infeed plate. I unplugged the pre-transfer bias from the infeed plate only (leaving the bias connected to the transport unit) and the problem went away. No problems with copy quality even when using wet paper. This problem has occured on 5 different machines and seems to only occur during warm weather. a little knowledge is a good thing. -kiya i am a copier. we are not all copiers.

I'll have to agree, I was seriously unimpressed by anything on it. Although josh and rom played 2 'bad as fuck' tracks on CDR ("me and my rhythm box" and "jam on it rmx") when they were out here in EL Lay, everything else I've heard out of them lately has be a bit on the weak side, IMNHO. And my reaction to the track with the locked groove off the comp: 'This song is absolutely awful and it seams like it's going on FOREVER' Which it would have until the needle scratched it's way to china and I chucked the two pieces out the window. Come on boys, where's the GOOD stuff? ;-) brock

there is a PBO track on the comp (inside track, dont recall whcih side) that is much more "4-on the floor" abstract ambientish techno -- reminds me of something off DIN perhaps. most amazing thing i have heard from PBO. There is also a phoenecia track that is along these lines. makes me happy to see them step away from the super technical odd beat stuff they do (i love that stuff, but its nice to hear an act venture away from their standard). and i love all the richie devine tracks -- especially the one that sounds like little rhymic aliens are running about the room :) but then again, i really could give a fuck about idm tracks with forced MELODY in them (which is why my MAS stuff may very well be the first set of records i ever sell or trade off). to me, there is plently of melody in the much of the schematic material -- its just not overt and in your face. that said, i will be playing the 3 schematic songs i mentioned above tonight on KUCI -- 7pm-10pm PST (88.9fm, www.kuci.org, http://www.kuci.org for winamp). wee! chris.
