I'll jump into this argument/discussion to point out I'd LOVE to hear new stuff by C. Jeff but all I get to hear which is released is at least 2 years old (and correct me if I'm wrong on this point). I know the M&R is old as well but I wouldn't even try to describe how much less I adore Mr J so far until I hear something he released NOW. regards, Snow.

hi all, Just got the new NME (12th June) here in da UK and there's some idm-related interesting stuff in there, so I thought i'd pass it on. I'll try to do this semi-regularly if i remember.. Another festival at Pontin's (ancient holiday camp!) in Camber Sands, September 17th-19th. Bands include cool 'indie' stuff like Arab Strap, Sterelob, Tortoise, Ween, but also some nice idm things like Plone and Plaid live. Cylob's new album is called "Lobster Tracks" and it's out on Rephlex July 12th, along with a new record from Jones (hurrah!), "The Jones Machine", same date, same label. Andrea Parker's "Kiss My Arp", heavily delayed cos of the Mo Wax label-ownership shenanigans, is out in the UK June 28th. Reviews include Plaid's "Rest Proof Clockwork" getting 7/10 ("both furiously modernist and strangely quaint: breakbeat electronica that's too ornate and eccentric to be remotely streetwise"). Umm, and that's about it :) Later, h0l (http:/www.mono211.com)

This sounds great to me. Is this a Warp release?

<Cognition plug>: That Jones is pretty darn strange. It's got a Cylob mix on there; speaking of which, there's a track from Cylob's "Lobster Tracks" EP on Andrew Duke's In The Mix show 582 (it's been online since Monday, but I haven't had a chance to do up the tracklisting, connect it from Cognition, and mention it; i'll try to do this later today). The direct URL for the RA, though, is: http://streetsound.pseudo.com/radio/duke/582.ram the Cylob is the last track in part 3 of show 582, right after the spacetime continuum. andrew :) ps Innerzone Orchestra first track in part 3 of show 582, plus Voiteck Andersen interview. </cognition plug> ;0

to be honest, i've only heard lobster tracks through the rephlex sample page. it sounds really intelligently abrasive. it's fast and twisty, but it all makes sense in a beautiful way. i have his: are we not men who live and die industrial folksongs loops and breaks diof 97 ep rewind cylob's latest effort empathy box i've been looking for "cylobian sunset" and am also looking for chaos a.d.'s buzz caner. if anybody has these on mp3, i'll make it more than worth their while. shaun -- The only certainty is that there is nothing certain Pliny the Elder (c.23-79)
