then track 7 comes along and all is forgiven, I'm going to pipe up in Ae's defense here: I think of ep7 as sort of a "second try" for lp5. The latter didn't really do much for me; there were some good ideas there, but its execution was somewhat sophomoric. ep7 has the same vibe, but it flows much better and is more enjoyable as a whole. This time, they got it right. It's nice to see them combining their old Incunabula-style hip-hop influences with the wigged-out sensibility they've been developing in their later material. ep7 makes me happy :)
