Just received a copy of the 1997 Maurizio comp. A couple things i'd like to know are the track-listing, and if it's okay to snap the cd into the square metal jewel case. I've heard some horror stories, so i'm not sure what to do. Any input would be great, thanks. dont mess with those metal jewel boxes. they suck. go down to your local record chain store and pick up some generic jewel boxes and stick your chain reaction cds in there. if you dont, your cds will eventually crack from the inside out due to those piece of shit boxes.... ============================================================== "Opening minds buzz with formless thoughts, their impulses expertly channeled through recharged ganglia. Can someone explain exactly how these CDs will crack, even if they're handled properly? Do you mean they'll crack when removed from the metal box? Or simply by sitting in these boxes? I've had some of these CR discs for a few years and have had no problems. Could they be cracking even as I type? Help! my copy of "...compiled" cracked from the inside out just by sitting there. my bet is that the middle thingie was too large & applied to much pressure to the rest of the disc. then again, i hear that this is the worse one (& possibly the porter ricks cd as well) & that most other tin box chain reaction cds won't crack if you handle them correctly. -- david turgeon at http://www.notype.com

err, not a good idea. mine's got 3(three) cracks that goes half way through the disc. still plays without skippin, though. it's tucked away in a jewelcase these days, along with the rest of my CR/BC collection. tomas np: Round One - I'm Your Brother
