talking of quality hip hop as we were the other day .. i just picked up the Roots Manuva album - Brand New Second Hand .. on Big Dada / Ninja ... it's absolutely excellent, big reggae influence .. also got the new Sensational album on Wordsound but haven't listened to it yet ..

That's one sick fuckin' record. I love it. Grungy, dirty, low-down and lo-fi. Really unique vocal flow, too. Apparently his first album is even *more* lo-fi - the press release for this new one says that he didn't own a microphone when recording the first one, so he recorded the vocals through a pair of headphones! Gotta check that out. Greg
