With recent talk about Mr. Takemura, I would like some opinions on his collab with Jansen/Barbieri (ex-Japan). I found a mid-80s Jansen/Barbieri LP that is very IDM-ish with ambient synths and chirpy drum programs. I vaguely remember reading that this record Takemura was drum and bass (or something like that).
1999-05-14 18:55danielnot drum and bass. has a definite hip hop/acid jazz flavor. Not really like other takemura

not drum and bass. has a definite hip hop/acid jazz flavor. Not really like other takemura works I have heard. In a lot of ways it is similar to Dj shadow.
