im thinking of going to see jega, though i thought spectrum was pretty weak (im not into the drill n bass style, so take my opinion with that in mind). if SoCal folks do go to see jega at this party saturday, do yourselves a favor and catch the following WITH AN OPEN MIND: 2012 -- good, groovy and simple stufff.. house-y and breaky i spose.. dunno what to call nick's stuff. emanon -- good live hip hop! and of course, juan atkins (isnt he from squarepusher/aphex?). there is also an event im thinking of going to with ebn, low res, meat beat, hive and others that same night. tough call.. chris.

I'd be there in a minute! (but then i don't know who jega is). When ebn opened for DJ Spooky, the videos mystified me. Can someone tell me if/where i can get any recent videos by them? All i've ever seen listed is an old one (like from 92, 93) and thier (boring) video remix of U2's numb. I'd also be interested if Coldcut has any videos available (other than on the Let Us Play CD-Rom. My GF is a video productions majjor and i want to show her what i think are cool videos. Back to the events..... the whole concept is beyond me...Two great lineups at different events at the same time. i really loved Spectrum but be forwarned. Dylan's live show is more of the hard d'n'b type stuff. thats what i heard from people who saw him in Miami and thats what the Absolute Rhythm people said he would be basicaly be playing on their info line.
