Kelley, First, this is completely unacceptable. Second, here's the situation. You asked if anyone wanted some CDs *FOR FREE*. I said yes, and suggested I could give you a mix CD of mine as a way of saying "thank you". I got the CDs and said thanks, but haven't had a chance to mail you a mix CD yet, nor the tape I also later said I'd give you (again, a favor, not part of any deal we struck). To take this to a public forum is childish. I apologize for not doing the favor I'd said I would do, but understand that I am extremely busy at work, am in the middle of moving, and am generally busy elsewhere. I'll get you the CDs, but I request that you do the right thing and own up to the specifics of the situation. I don't need my name slandered over a favor I was trying to do. at least you can rest assured knowing that probably 90% o f the list has "kelley hackett" in their kill file and that the other 10% only read his posts for comic relief. =)

I'd just like to say that I'm certain his heart's in the right place and he's been nothing but sweetness and light itself when it comes to trading with me. I recently bought a South African release of something he wanted as a completist, but most annoyingly my parcel got 'lost' in the mail... I had meanwhile received his return trade, and even though I've sent out a second copy, he still has to receive that, but hasn't for a moment bitched about it and counters my concerned queries with placid reassurances. Maybe we occasionally need the Hackett-Translation-Engine to decode what he's saying, but in a world over-crowded with w*nkers, let the record reflect that Kelley's A Cool Dude by my count. I am ready to support Irene on this one. Not just because it is Irene (which would be suffice in the first place) but because all the correspondence he posts and our private conversations proved that he's a cool guy with just a specific written languange and feeling of humor. I do not support washing dirt laundry of mail trade problems on the list but I do know how it feels when you do not get what you had expected and was promised to receive. You know that's the coin with two sides. They finally resolved the matter between them through this cry made by Hk. Maybe this way I will get an answer from Bent Crayon about where my money went that I have paid (including insurance) for the order I never received? btw. I thought information on black list online stores would be welcomed on the list. I had bad trading experience with them and wanted to warn others about it. I ment it to be helpful. ______________________ I would like to ask if there's any info on works by Gleise and Metic from Ishemic Folks and opinions on how they are similar to compilation ones. thx in advance.
