After picking up the _Me Shape_ cd the other day, I can't help but be disappointed by it. Having not heard all of his output I have no idea what direction this is in, but the composition dates are from late '95 to late '97. Is this truly "just" fill for live performances as noted in the packaging, or is good ole Simon having a laugh at literal interpreters like myself? Anyway, highly disappointing after a couple listens. Hopefully just a hard nut to crack. And why does everywhere I attempted to order it from list a different price? Some places $9.95, some $14.95, some $19.95. Can't be that much mark up on an import full-length ... Anybody wanna post a review of the Takemura album on Thrill Jockey ... inquiring minds demand to know. Is this out yet? I've seen no evidence of it's existense or even a definite release date or title. _________________________________ Adam Roesch / roesch@augsburg.edu Augsburg College / Minneapolis / MN / USA Visit my Fila Brazillia/Pork Recordings fan site: http://dogbert.augsburg.edu/~roesch/pork/ "The only disease we need in our blood is love" TRICKY

it isn't out yet, but the "meteor" single is. the two very-long tracks are somewhere amongst ryuichi sakamoto's remix of colcut's "rubaiyat," "melvyn's response" by renaldo and the loaf, and a sunny meadow full of flowers. blips and beats. eric onnow: dag nasty, "can i say" (dischord)
