I agree with Podracer! There is no way you will escape the phenomenon that is Star Wars. And why would you want to? The other 3 films are among the best films ever made. You will not escape me know! graham

Well (s) you are entitled to your opinion but I would suggest that the majority of people on this list have watched and enjoyed Star Wars many many times. They are classic films that every generation can appreciate. And if they are not some of the biggest films of all time why have they made Mr Lucas into virtually a billionaire? - got to have good product to make that much money. Focusing on Kelly's point do you not think thats the reason people do enjoy "fantasy" films so much? They are an escape route aren't they, you can leave all your worldy problems behind for a few hours and just "have fun". C'mon. leave those dingy record shop basements behind for a while and leer at Princess Leia just one more time. Life doesn't have to be all boring and dull you know... err... the Jedi Knights are f**kin ace aren't they!! (token IDM content approved) graham

Oh, don't get me wrong. I really like the movies, but mostly for the nostalgia aspect. Well, Empire was actually a solid movie, plot and all. The other two run a little thin. But, effects aside, I don't think they qualify as really great "films." Granted, they are a huge part of American culture, but pop value aside, they are not as _great_ as they're touted. - wells

I really wouldnt deny anything that U just typed! But opinions and facts are two different things(sorry, I hate that Mass slogan "we all have opinions"--my answer----NOOOO Shit!). Still, okay man, have fun, have fun------but isnt the relationship between Movies and escaping, and drugs and escaping the same? Or is it not! I feel ya though, do what U like! Hk-90!~
