Yo, now that Puffy is in the trouble with the law, two musical lightweights might be out of commission. High fives all around :-)

Suge Knight a lightweight? He was/is a thug but Death Row put out some good stuff. Check out "The N.W.A. Legacy: 1988-1998" on Priority. The Death Row tracks can stand against most of the stuff on there (except the Ice Cube tracks). IDM content: Anyone know where I can get rubber "Window Licker" mask? :-0

Actually these entertainers that U guys name are cool. But personally, Dr. Dre, being an entertainer that he is, did some nice ass producing for Death Row----I must admit--that his production made a difference for many who came out on that label.

Only sending this to the IDM list because of recent hip-hop threads: Hip-hop fans have a huge reason to celebrate! Mase, who singlehandedly is responsible for a huge step BACK in hip-hop lyrical progress, is calling it quits! He's totally born again, which means no music related involvements (which is news to me), so no more mush-mouth simpleton flows from at least one MC. It seems he's having his cake and eating it too though, since he will still be promoting his new album...so he's not performing or writing new music, and yet he can still profit from it...interesting loophole... darren

Suge didn't have anything to do with the music besides picking who would record. Besides, would anything have gotten done if he wasn't threatening everybody? :-) -----Original Message----- From: Darren Keast <darren@skinny.com> To: Rodney Perkins <rdperkins@earthlink.net> Date: Friday, April 23, 1999 12:16 AM Subject: Re: (idm) Hip-hop fans rejoice
