Sure, the lexaunculpt 12" that came out recently isn't revolutionary but let's give Orange a big Hurah for the idea of the floppy, that was a sweet little idea I've not seen before from the other labels. Now how does Orange top themselves next time? sure we can all trade any fucking little mp3 we want to, but the label is sorta _forcing_ us trainspotters to do so. Thus not only do we get more music, we may get more conversations, more friendships, etc outta all this and that's what this fucking internet shit is for, no? the lex 12" is just pretty cool from what i heard. that's fine, i'll buy it soon. sounded very schematicish. doesn't need to be revolutionary..

You don't want to be in the middle of Orange County. It's pretty wack. Ask Gonzi. That's why people like Alex are making such good music. There's nothing to do there, so there are no distractions. Might as well move to the north pole. ;-) brock ps. To make this somewhat music related, I heard a hilarious Lexaunculpt remix of a early NWA tune that may be coming out on one of IDM's least (or most?) favorite labels. pss. Let me second that motion. I was born and raised there. I recently went back and visited in the beginning of March after a hiatus of over five years and it was very frightening to realize that the culture - and in particular the post-everything indie/punk/ska music scene - hadn't progressed whatsover in that span of time.
