his name is Quentin Dupieux, and he released a great 6-track cd on F Communications (F074CD) in '97. slow house with lots of static. cool. T. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

I have seen recently on Viva 2 the video from Analogue Worms Attack and must admit I was surprised to hear such kind of music on the TV, even though it is a satellite channel. Very good minimal techno-noise with no vocals and no sign of pop approach to making music. Such features are really rare among TV music nowadays when even Party Zone on MTV forgot that it once hosted such . The video is very original and funny too. Alien reviewing...

I don't know if he has come up on the list; I've been delinquent for a while due to work (can't trainspot all the time). Anyhow, any reviews posted? I have to admit I found out about him from the Levi's advertisment with the puppet but that aside, this is some really good music. It makes me think of Morgan Geist, at least the Driving Memoirs album with clever funky rythms that involve no more than 4 parts at any given moment. -d ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

No one should feel guilty about Levis commercials... at least if the past has anything to do with it. I found out about Biosphere back in '95 because of that awesome noir-esque Levis commercial they showed in Europe. Its a shame they don't use it anymore..... They have started showing that commercial again but have changed it from Levis to a safe sex message. They still use the fantasatic Biosphere track. no. mr. oizo is quentin dupieux, and his _analog worms attack_ album is the bomb (forgive the technical jargon).
