hi all, admit it ... who (within the uk at least - didn't this get to # 1 in the charts) has not been bobbing their head to mr. oizo's _flat beat_ ??? this is so silly, but so "it -keeps-sticking-in-my-head" and the video is hilareous (for those of you that have not seen this : a yellow handpuppet behind a desk calling someone on the phone and putting the phone against the speaker, meanwhile bobbing its head and fingers to the 4/4 beat ... and there's a bit with a hairdryer too) !!! does anyone know any info on this guy ? i guess he is french (mr. oiseau = mr. bird), but is he related in some way to daft punk / cassius / motorbass ... they all have the same quircky messed-up disco sound to them. dv8

yes it is ! there are a variety of similar commercials, all with the same yellow "thing" (i guess it's called _flat eric_), but the track has seen a commercial release, along with a new video. dv8
