I was in a club Monday evening with some friends. After loitering on the
patio, I went inside to watch the DJ. He was spinning drum and bass and some
OTHER style of music that was jungle-like (dub bass, heavy drums) but didn't
have any breaks (or snare patterns from what I could hear). It was way too
heavy to be ragga. My immediate guess was that it was some sort of "garage"
variant but it sounded too good. :-)
