Hi idm crowd. As a Ae fan I'm interested in all concerned. That's why when a friend of mine told me of some guys produced (or something like that - source was very questionable) by Ae. The name is Xingu Hill. Any infos would be welcome. Alien

I don't believe the Ae guys have anything to do with Xingu Hill, unless they did a rare remix or something. But the Xingu Hill material I've heard is very good, and should appeal to Ae fans. I think they're signed to KK/Nova Zembla Records out of Belgium. Greg

Yip : I have a pretty great compilation from them titled Natural Born Techno 6 (implying there must be others too, I guess). This one's dated 1997 and includes Unit Moebius / Omicron / Yellow Cake (whose track is PHENOMENAL : anybody heard anything else by them?) Seiko / Black Lung etc. I *

black lung has put out quite a few releases. I beleive black lung is one half of soma/snog. I beleive a best of 2cd set just came out as well. the album I heartily recommend is silent weapons for quiet wars. think dark ambient with idm overtones. I beleive it is availabe on dorobo. I know it has been licensed to another label as well. Also Ant-zen recently reissued it as a vinyl picture disc. I awlays thought ant-zen was a power noise label until I saw this reissue. this album is definitely not power noise. other albums (disinformation plague, depopulation bomb etc) have more of a straight techno feel. Not that familliar with them but what I have heard has been mildly interesting. -daniel Head Monkey Mad Monkey Records On Wed, 24 Mar 1999, Irene McC wrote:

isn't that the name of a wu-tang related album too? not that it has anything to do with idm. killarmy, i think. anyway-- my real question. can anyone point me to a good squarepusher discography? for some reason i'm having difficulty tracking one down, and i want to know if getting port rhombus EP is worth the cashish-- i have the nothing release of big loada, and "port rhombus" is incredibly beautiful. if anyone understands the syntax of that sentence, please contact me. rob!
