I stumbled upon a record awhile back from former Reflective artist Subtropic that was more tech-step in style. Then recently I saw a full cd release of new material but no means of listening to it. Has anyone heard it or have it? --BIll

Yeah, I've heard that CD. It's on Fused and Bruised, although I can't remember the title of it. I didn't enjoy it so much as the stuff on Reflective. It's a lot more clean, and "well-produced", with less of the raw synth action. I'm guessing he bought new gear somewhere along the lines. :-) In that respect I guess it's more tech-step than his earlier stuff, but there's still plenty of downbeat moments, and I remember the rhythms being predominantly breaks. I don't remember it being bad, but I also didn't feel compelled to buy it. Michael np. 'Fast Eddie' - Amon Tobin (speaking of that "well produced" business... this is almost as detailed as Klute, but sooo dense.. owww... lighten up Amon :-) Join 18 million Eudora users by signing up for a free Eudora Web-Mail account at http://www.eudoramail.com
